WEBSITE MIGRATION · ACCEPTANCE WORKSPACE

Evidence before sign-off.

Compare your before-and-after crawl exports. Catch lost pages, routing problems and content changes before you hand over the site.

1 Bring the evidence

BASELINE CRAWLRequired
DESTINATION CRAWLRequired
URL MAPPINGOptional
Review scope

By default, excludes explicit non-indexable pages, non-HTML content and non-2xx responses. Unknown fields remain in scope.

Path matching preserves query parameters, case and trailing slashes.

CSV / TSV · UTF-8 or BOM-marked UTF-16 · 15 MB / 100,000 rows per file
A CLEAR HANDOVER, WITH THE GAPS VISIBLE

From two exports to a reviewable decision.

Upload existing crawl data from Screaming Frog or another crawler. This workspace checks the supplied evidence; it does not crawl your website.

01Resolve the route

Explicit mappings, missing destinations, chains and loops.

02Compare the page

HTTP status, indexability, canonicals, titles, H1s and word counts.

03Export the review

Actionable CSV findings and a self-contained handover report.

Prepare your crawl exports

Use a baseline crawl from before the move and a destination crawl from the environment you are reviewing. This tool reads exported data; it never fetches a URL.

  1. Export the baseline pages. In Screaming Frog, an Internal → HTML export works well. Keep Address and Status Code, plus the metadata you want to compare.
  2. Export the destination pages. Include the final URLs. To verify redirects, also crawl the old URLs after the routing change, include all intermediate hops, and combine those responses in the destination file. Keep one row per URL.
  3. Add a mapping file when URLs change. Use old_url,new_url. Without it, only exact path-and-query matches can be inferred. Relative paths in mappings use the detected baseline origin and selected destination origin.
  4. Check the column choices. Address / URL, Status Code, Title 1, H1-1, Canonical Link Element 1, Indexability, Redirect URL, Word Count, Meta Description 1 and Hash are detected automatically. Custom headers can be assigned manually.
  5. Review the findings. Blockers prevent acceptance, review items need a human decision, and evidence notes describe limits. Intentional consolidation, deletions and staging noindex rules need context.

The word-count alert uses a 35% reduction threshold for baseline pages with at least 100 words. It is a review heuristic, not a content-equivalence test.

Your files remain on this device.

Analysis runs in your browser. Refreshing or clearing the workspace discards the data. Save review downloads a private JSON copy of inputs and manual notes; Open saved review recalculates its checks. Static hosting receives ordinary page requests, while imported files remain local. Downloaded reports contain your URLs and metadata; share them with the intended recipients.

This version does not compare rendered screenshots, link graphs, images, structured data, robots.txt, or full page-body semantics. Findings refer only to the supplied snapshots and their environment.
